Concept & Overview:
Westgate is a transitional housing community nestled in the heart of Tallahassee. Drawing upon local landscape for inspiration, the collective goals aim to create a supportive housing environment to help residents through the transition from homelessness back into society. Heavily influenced by research, this community design provides a solution for reducing Tallahassee's homeless population in a positive and uplifting manner. The design solution utilizes a focus on sustainability and wellness to promote a healthy lifestyle for the residents in this difficult transitional stage.
